IX Leopoldo García-Colín Mexican Meeting on Mathematical and Experimental Physics
Date and venue: October 4–10, 2026 · El Colegio Nacional and Casa de la Primera Imprenta, Centro Histórico, Mexico City
Ninth edition of the meeting that professors from UAM Iztapalapa have organized with El Colegio Nacional since 2001 to open up new lines of research for young scientists and to foster international collaboration. It runs for a full week with three parallel symposia — Quantum Technologies, Gravitation and Cosmology, and Experimental Physics — five super-plenary lectures and around twenty invited talks in each symposium.
XIX Mexican Symposium on Medical Physics (MSMP 2026)
Date and venue: November 4–6, 2026 · Mexico City
Nineteenth edition of the Mexican symposium on medical physics, organized by UAM Iztapalapa and linked to the Specialization in Clinical Medical Physics. Its core topics are the physics of radiotherapy modalities, quantitative medical imaging, dosimetry and radiation protection, biological physics and physiological measurements, biomedical instrumentation, signal and image processing, bioimpedance and biomagnetism. The official language of the symposium is English.
